Bruno Fernandes, il portiere titolare del Flamengo, la squadra più popolare del Brasile, si è costituito dopo che un giudice ne aveva chiesto l'arresto preventivo, sospettandolo di essere coinvolto nella scomparsa e assassinio della sua ex fidanzata. Per la vicenda, avvenuta a Minas Gerais, nel Brasile centrale e che presenta ancora lati oscuri, la magistratura aveva spiccato martedì mandati di cattura a carico di Bruno, della moglie Dayane Souza e di alcuni amici e parenti della coppia. Dayane è stata arrestata ma in seguito liberata, mentre ieri si è costituito il marito, assieme ad un amico, a sua volta sospettato di essere coinvolto nel caso. L'avvocato del calciatore ha però già annunciato che ne chiederà subito la rimessa in libertà poichè non è stato incriminato e non è stato ritrovato il cadavere della ragazza. Fernandes è sospettato di aver fatto uccidere Eliza Samudio, che era la sua amante e che, secondo la moglie del giocatore, lo stava ricattando dopo la nascita del figlio, che ora ha quattro mesi. Martedì un cugino 17enne del giocatore ha confessato di aver sequestrato la donna assieme ad un amico di Bruno su richiesta del portiere, di averla uccisa con il calcio di una rivoltella durante una colluttazione quando Eliza ha cercato di scappare, e di averne poi fatto sparire il corpo. Sembra così avviarsi a conclusione una vicenda che ha tenuto con il fiato sospeso mezzo Brasile durante le due settimane in cui si cercava il corpo di Eliza Samudio e Bruno continuava ad affermare di essere totalmente estraneo alla sparizione dell'avvenente 27enne.
