SUDAFRICA 2010: NUOVA ZELANDA NON SI ALLENA, CAMPO INVASO DAL FUMO - SOUTH AFRICA 2010: NEW ZEALAND CAN'T TRAIN, SMOKE INVADES PITCH

Per un denso fumo proveniente da una vicina baraccopoli, la nazionale della Nuova Zelanda ha dovuto interrompere ieri il suo primo allenamento all'indomani dal suo arrivo in Sudafrica.
Gli 'All Whites' avevano iniziato la seduta nel Sinaba Stadium, un nuovissimo complesso sportivo situato a Daveyton, una 'township' nera ad una quarantina di chilometri da Johennesburg.
Per cucinare e per il riscaldamento gli abitanti della zona usano stufe a legna e paraffina. A causa del vento, grossi nuvoloni di fumo bianco ieri sono stati dirottati sullo stadio e i neo-zelandesi, sentito anche il medico della squadra, alla fine si sono dovuti arrendere. La Nuova Zelanda, inserita nel Gruppo F assieme all'Italia, debutterà il 15 giugno contro la Slovacchia a Nelspruit.
