Un giornalista inglese è stato arrestato perchè sospettato di essere coinvolto nell
'incursione di un tifoso nello spogliatoio dell'Inghilterra dopo il match con l'Algeria lo scorso 18 giugno. La polizia sudafricana ha fermato ieri sera

Il giornalista avrebbe favorito l'ingresso di
Pavlos Joseph, 32enne supporter inglese, nelle aree riservate dello stadio di Città del Capo.
«La polizia ha ogni motivo per ritenere che l'incidente sia stato architettato con la collaborazione di diversi individui. Ciò è emerso dalle indagini iniziali e dall'esame delle immagini registrate dalle telecamere a circuito chiuso», spiega il generale
Bheki Cele.
«La polizia -aggiunge-
ritiene che si volesse mettere in cattiva luce l'organizzazione dei Mondiali e che si volesse trarre profitto da tale azione».
Joseph, in un'intervista rilasciata proprio al Sunday Mirror, ha dichiarato di essere finito
casualmente nello spogliatoio della Nazionale. L'uomo ha detto che
stava cercando una toilette e, all'improvviso, si è ritrovato tra i giocatori della selezione di
Fabio Capello. Ha sfruttato l'occasione, almeno così ha raccontato,
per rimproverare la squadra, colpevole di aver disputato una gara mediocre. Joseph è stato arrestato e rilasciato su cauzione: domani dovrà comparire in tribunale per l'udienza del processo.

The journalist had encouraged the entry of
Pavlos Joseph, 32, english supporter, in restricted areas of the stadium in Cape Town.
"Police have every reason to believe that the incident was orchestrated with the help of several persons. This has emerged from the initial investigation and examination of the images recorded by CCTV", explains general
Bheki Cele.
"Police - he adds -
feels that would reflect poorly on the organization of the World Cup and who would benefit from such action".
Joseph, in his interview to Sunday Mirror, said he finished
casually in dressing room of national team. The man said
he was looking for a toilet, and suddenly found himself among the players selected by
Fabio Capello. He took the opportunity, or so he said, to
blame the team guilty of having played a mediocre match. Joseph was arrested and released on bail to appear in court tomorrow for the hearing process.
