La cosa non e' piaciuta alla Fifa che ha accusato le giovani di 'ambush marketing', ovvero di pubblicita' illegale. Ma le 'Leeuwenhosen' hanno raggiunto comunque il loro obiettivo: continuamente inquadrate dalle telecamere hanno guadagnato le prime pagine di migliaia di giornali e siti internet in tutto il mondo. Al Soccer City Stadium di Johannesburg, in realta', si sono fatte notare piu' per la loro avvenenza grazie ai corti vestitini arancioni che indossavano che per il loro tifo.
