Pizza e tiramisù per i giocatori dell'Auxerre. Sono stati offerti dall'allenatore Jean Fernandez per festeggiare il buon finale di campionato, che li vede quarti a una giornata dal termine, con approdo sicuro in Europa per la prossima stagione, forse anche in Champions. «Un allenatore non è nulla senza l'appoggio dei suoi giocatori, ecco quello che ci ha detto: ci ha ringraziato e si è congratulato con noi negli spogliatoi, dicendoci che il suo premio era il nostro», ha riferito il portiere dell'Auxerre, Olivier Sorin, elogiando il «grande lavoro» di Fernandez, che nei giorni scorsi è stato eletto dai colleghi tecnico dell'anno della Ligue 1. «Ci ha offerto una pizza e un tiramisù per pranzo mercoledì, così dopo abbiamo ritardato l'allenamento», ha aggiunto. L'Auxerre, squadra di una cittadina di 45 mila abitanti della Borgogna, ha vinto un solo campionato, nel 1996. Quarto a 68 punti, due in meno del Lilla e uno in meno del Lione, potrebbe conquistare l'accesso diretto alla Champions in caso di vittoria sabato sera a Sochaux, e di contemporanea sconfitta del Lione, che ospita il già retrocesso Le Mans, e del Lilla a Lorient.
