Il giovane attaccante brasiliano Neymar ha ricevuto un nuovo contratto con uno sponsor. La banca spagnola Santander ha messo sotto contratto la stella verdeoro ed è stato il presidente dell'Istituto, Emilio Botìn, a consegnargli il trofeo di miglior giocatore dell'ultima Libertadores, conquistata dal suo club, il Santos.
Oltre al trofeo, ideato dall'artista brasiliano, Romero Britto, il giocatore ha ricevuto un premio di 60.000 dollari che consiste in 30.000 dollari in azioni della Banco Santander per il giocatore e 30.000 dollari che saranno destinati ad un'organizzazione non governativa che sarà scelta dall'attaccante.
«È un grande onore che una banca come Santander sostenga la mia carriera sportiva. Da parte mia, spero di essere per loro un grande valore» ha dichiarato Neymar.
