ITALIA, SNEIJDER SI SPOSA: ANTICO MONASTERO E COCCHIO CON 6 CAVALLI BIANCHI - ITALY, SNEIJDER'S WEDDING: ANCIENT MONASTERIES AND CHARIOT WITH 6 HORSES

Sarà un cocchio trainato da sei cavalli bianchi a portare Wesley Sneijder e la futura moglie Yolanthe Cabau Van Kasbergen fino alla Chiesa dei Santi Giusto e Clemente, al centro di Castelnuovo Berardenga dove sabato si sposeranno.
«Hanno deciso di sposarsi qua perchè vogliono organizzare qualcosa da sogno e sono stati conquistati da questa location esclusiva, in cui hanno un paese tutto per loro e dalla bellezza degli spazi» dice Andrea Prevosti, direttore generale di Castel Monastero, il resort in cui è stato trasformato il borgo medievale del nono secolo di Monastero d'Ombrone, 23 chilometri da Siena, interamente prenotato dai futuri coniugi Sneijder per festeggiare l'evento con i circa 250 invitati.
Troppi, gli invitati, per la parrocchia dei Santissimi Jacopo e Cristoforo all'interno del borgo che, tra piscine, campi da tennis e mille metri quadri di centro benessere a disposizione degli invitati, conta su 75 tra camere e suite e una villa indipendente. Così il matrimonio si celebrerà nella chiesa di Don Vezio a Castelnuovo, 7 km da Castel Monastero, quasi 9000 abitanti a cavallo tra la zona del Chianti e delle Crete senesi. «Saremo capitale per un giorno» dice il sindaco Roberto Bozzi, alludendo anche all'arrivo sabato alle 18 del regista americano Robert Zemeckis, per l'inaugurazione della rassegna cinematografica «Cine&Chiantì alla vicina Villa Chigi, dove gli inviati di Sneijder lasceranno le auto per raggiungere a piedi la chiesa neoclassica fatta erigere nel 1846 dal conte Alessandro Lucarini Saracini.
La scelta del luogo da parte della coppia è avvenuto nello scorso inverno, quando vennero entrambi a visitare Castel Monastero. Yolanthe, modella e conduttrice nata ad Ibiza, madrina del Giro d'Italia 2010, eletta donna più sexy d'Olanda 2006 e 2007, è tornata anche in occasione di Siena-Inter nell'ultima giornata di campionato. »Sono veramente una bella coppia, sembrano molto innamorati. Sono alla mano, semplici, hanno buon gusto e rispetto della tradizione locale. A differenza di altri matrimoni famosi hanno un'immagine privata uguale a quella pubblica«, racconta Prevosti, che organizzerà anche il matrimonio di un membro della famiglia reale svedese per il 2011.
Arriveranno fiori dall'Olanda e i festeggiamenti avverranno prevalentemente all'esterno, nella piazza del borgo, dove andranno in scena anche i fuochi d'artificio, se il sopralluogo di giovedì andrà come previsto. Nessuna indiscrezione sul menù, se non che arriveranno cuochi olandesi per curare un paio di piatti dei Paesi Baschi che saranno cucinati venerdì sera, attingendo per il resto a tutti ingredienti locali.
Un'organizzazione che non poteva non essere da sogno, come da sogno fu la proposta del campione interista, avvenuta in aereo mentre la coppia stava volando a Dubai per le vacanze natalizie.
