SVEZIA: IL MONDIALE UNA SAVANA, IN SUDAFRICA UNO ZOO - SWEDEN: WORLD CUP IS A SAVANNAH, IN SOUTH AFRICA A ZOO

L'Italia?
Divora soprattutto prede in difficoltà o già morte».

Italy? A rhinoceros which engages when the shadows fall. Translation: eye on 'azzurri' in World Cup when they arrived at crucial stages. It is the 'bestial' identikit the swedish daily Dagens Nyheter has designed for the National coach Marcello Lippi at the next World Championship when he will defend the title won four years ago in Germany.
The paper compares the upcoming World Cup in the savannah and the National team approaches to wildlife. Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Italy and Spain are the so-called 'big five', the five species most dangerous and difficult to hunt.
Brazil, in the opinion drawn up with the suggestions of the Museum of Natural History in Stockholm is the lion of the situation: it needs "organization and collaboration to achieve results".
Instead, Argentina has a buffalo, "a power that not many carnivores are able to challenge. The lion is his worst enemy".
Germany earns the rank of elephant is the "heaviest and most experienced of all. Not afraid of anybody".
European champions, Spain, is compared to a leopard "moves with ease and elegance with its beautiful coat".
Italy, however, suggests the image of a rhinoceros, "proceed at their own pace and become more alert when approaching the evening. Goes its own way".
Besides the blue rhinoceros, the list of virtual teams in contention for the title, you can put England-crocodile. Team coached by Fabio Capello is "big and heavy, yet fast on land. Appreciate the water and can defy almost anyone approaching".
There is no need to underestimate France: the hippopotamus trans is "one of the largest of the group. It seems sluggish and harmless but can be extremely dangerous".
Holland, however, is the hyena of the World Cup, "Happy hunting, when extraordinary teamwork. Eats mainly prey in distress or already dead".
Little chances, or rather none, for South Africa that hosts tournament. The 'Bafana Bafana' are zebras "fun with their stripes", but, at last, they are "easy preys"
