Il 14 giugno alle 20,30, l'Italia farà il suo debutto ai Mondiali contro il Paraguay al Green Point di Città del Capo, uno stadio molto speciale. Alto come un palazzo di otto piani, l'impianto è costato 450 milioni di euro e ospiterà 68 mila spettatori, tutti a sedere. Gli spogliatoi distano appena 25 passi dal campo e ogni giocatore avrà una cassaforte vicino alla poltroncina. Ma, come dice l'edizione odierna del Corriere dello Sport, la particolarità sta nel terreno da gioco. Speciale anche l'erba del campo: la 'Peruvian Blue e Kentucky', perfetta per evitare graffi e bruciature nei tackle e quando si scivola in ginocchio dopo l'esultanza.
