L'avvocato di Michael Ballack ha annunciato oggi ai media tedeschi la volontà di citare in giudizio Kevin-Prince Boateng, reo di aver "colpito in maniera intenzionale" il suo cliente, durante la finale di Fa Cup tra Chelsea e Portsmouth, costringendo Ballack a rinunciare al Mondiale. "E' nostro diritto rivolgerci alla giustizia ordinaria. Ciò potrebbe portare a conseguenze civili e penali per Boateng".
Nel corso della gara, vinta dai Blues per 1-0, Ballack è stato bersagliato da O'Hara e in particolare da Kevin-Boateng, alla fine è stato anche l'autore del fallo che ha messo ko il numero 13 del Chelsea.
