100.000 dollari (circa 90 mila euro) sono stati rubati alla Nazionale del Paraguay, in ritiro pre-Mondiali in Francia, in una camera dell'albergo che la ospita. Lo si è appreso da fonte vicina all'inchiesta. Il furto, nell'hotel Hilton di Evian-les-Bains, è stato commesso ieri da un uomo che si è fatto passare per un membro della delegazione del Paraguay.
Il ladro si è presentato alla reception dell'albergo munito di un badge di accesso a una stanza ed ha chiesto aiuto al personale, sostenendo di avere "un problema con la cassaforte". E' stato quindi accompagnato nella camera e gli è stata aperta la cassaforte. Si è poi allontanato portando con sè la somma, in contanti. Gli inquirenti vogliono scoprire in particolare come l'uomo fosse riuscito a procurarsi il badge e perchè fosse così informato.
