ARBITRO CONDANNATO PER INSULTI RAZZISTI A GIOCATORE - REFEE SENTENCED FOR RACIST ABUSE IN FOOTBALL PLAYER

Un arbitro di calcio è stato condannato dal giudice di pace di Viareggio (Lucca) a una multa di 2500 euro per aver rivolto insulti razzisti a un giovane calciatore, capitano dell'Oratorio don Bosco di Carrara, durante una partita valida per il Campionato regionale Giovanissimi. La notizia è riportata dal quotidiano La Nazione. La partita era stata disputata a Camaiore (Lucca) il 19 febbraio 2006 ed era arbitrata da Luca Giannecchini, 38 anni, appartenente alla sezione Aia di Viareggio. Durante la partita l'arbitro è stato sentito dire rivolto al capitano dell'Oratorio «Cinese di m... non mi rompere i c...» prima di espellerlo. Promyoo Sarayuth (questo il nome del calciatore che ora gioca nell'Ortonovo, in provincia di La Spezia) appena avuto il cartellino rosso si era avviato verso gli spogliatoi ed era stato accompagnato a bordo campo dallo stesso arbitro che aveva aggiunto: «La prossima volta giochi sulla spiaggia». Il calciatore, a seguito dell'espulsione, venne fermato per tre mesi dal giudice sportivo, squalifica poi ridotta dalla Commissione disciplinare. Sarayuth (padre di Carrara e madre thailandese) si è rivolto al giudice di pace che ha condannato l' arbitro. Ora i legali del ragazzo stanno valutando se depositare o meno una richiesta di risarcimento danni in sede civile.
